1st day at Japan, Tokyo

On top of a toy shop at Ueno(上野)

Ueno train station

Dunno what shop, bu I suppose its one of those million of PACHINKO shops in Japan

Oooh, a different shop in the funky Ueno flea market

Food!! Food!!!

See, it's only 9.40am, and already so many people at Ueno flea market. Vibrant street.

This is another train station near Ueno station. Dunno what it is called in Japanese. The woe of lousy Japanese. =x

Ueno Park

Very cool at the park. Go straight inside the park and can go visit a ZOO!! But no time so no visit to zoo. =x

Yay Akira Kurosawa(黒澤明). There's a whole row of famous Japanese people engraved on stones at the park. But I only know Kurosawa, so. There goes.

Something about Kurowawa.

Another train station name at Ueno.

Map of Ueno Park

Cute dogs at a roadside cafe!!! Corgi I think.

Asakusa Kannon Temple (浅草観音寺)at Tokyo Kaminari-mon(雷門)

Asakusa Kannon Temple

A young couple leaving the temple. Dressed in traditional costumes!!! On a busy Sunday afternoon!!

Side pagoda at the temple

Main temple

Entrance to the temple. In between tis entrance and the main hall, there is this row of shops selling foodstuff and souvenior, called Nakamise, which literally means shops at the centre.

Attraction for kids at Mega Web, Odaiba(台場).

A super big Ferris Wheel at Odaiba Mega Web. Can see it far away on our way to Odaiba, which is near Narita and Haneda Airport.

At Odaiba, there's a mega shopping centre, a Toyota showcase, and an amusement park. The Ferris Wheel is at the amusement park located just behind the Toyota City Showcase.

One and only photo of Haneda Airport(羽田空港). Was there for the domestic flight to Osaka(大阪)from Tokyo.
